An agritourism collaboration at Burley Berries and Blooms Farms in Perry, NY, Lear’s Nightmare is an immersive, haunted, theatre experience inspired by Shakespeare’s King Lear.
Petition the King! We welcome you to bring your desires to the kingdom.
Shake on the Lake will use the topography and landscape of the farm, coupled with the characters and images from King Lear to inspire this hour-long walking play. Suitable for ages 12 and up.
Please plan on dressing for the weather and wearing walking shoes that are suited for a walk in the woods. The show will go on rain or shine, so dress warmly and bring an umbrella. If you have access or mobility needs, please email us at shakeonthelake@gmail.com to plan accommodations.
